Find a flat surface on which to set up your tree. Never allow any material to block the vents on the bottom of the base.
Insert the tree into the plastic base.
Shape the tree. Never work with the power on.
Plug in the tree with the cord provided in your package.
Plug one end into the base and the other into the wall outlet.
Turn on the tree using the on off switch on the base.
Fiber optic trees change colors gradually. If your tree does not light up after following the above steps, check the bulb. It may be loose or broken.
Remove the plastic cover by turning the base upside down and unscrewing the screws.
Remove the color wheel by taking off the bolt and lifting the wheel off.
Unscrew the protective ring that is holding the bulb into place.
Lift off the ring.
The bulb is seated in the base. First try adjusting the bulb. It may just be loose.
If the bulb is damaged or burnt out, remove it and replace it with the replacement bulb supplied at the time of purchase.
Replace the base cover and tighten with screws.
Test the base by turning it on and looking into the base for the light.
